What's Coming Up on A Penchant for Paper

I'm still here, and I'm still planning new posts.  I haven't been around much lately, so I wanted to write this post to let you know what posts I'm planning for the coming months.
  • Reviews - I still have a backlog of items to review, which should last me at least until the end of the year, but once I am finished reviewing those items, I think that reviews will start becoming a smaller part of my blog.  I don't buy as many new items anymore, mainly because I don't use my pens and notebooks as much since I'm no longer a student and I don't write in my journals as often as I used to.  Also, minimalism has become more important to me recently, and so I don't like buying things I don't really need just to review them.
  • Vintage items - As I've become less interested in buying new stuff, I've become more interested in collecting vintage items.  I've acquired quite a few more vintage office supplies (including ink bottles, paper clips, and more nibs than I thought I would ever own in my life) since my last post on them, and I'm going to share them with you.
  • My pencil collection - My wooden pencil collection has also grown a lot since the post I wrote back in 2013, so I'm planning to write a series of posts to show it off.
  • My new DIY planner - After a year without a planner, I've decided to go back to keeping a DIY planner.  I'm going to share with you the page layout I've decided to use and how I've changed my productivity and planning process to deal with one of the biggest challenges in my life right now - procrastination.
2015 has not been a very good blogging year for me yet, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to change that soon.  I have new ideas in my mind about things I'd like to try, and, while this blog may change, I'm not planning to give up on blogging any time soon.

  1. I enjoy your posts whenever you write them so it's always a treat to see one, but don't worry about "HAVING" to do them when you can or feel like it.

  2. Looking forward to seeing your vintage collection, especially the nibs! And what you might do with them! ;-)

    - Tina
